Monologue captures the first 5 seconds and then fails

This has happened many times. I don’t exactly know how to reproduce. I’ll use the hotkey → talk for a few seconds and I can see my voice is registered in the widget’s audio feedback green/blue waves, and then it stops — and it only transcribes those few initial seconds
