New User Work Flow Onboarding

I am new to using voice to text in the flow of productivity. Let’s say I want to control Claude. It seems I click in claude (mouse), hold option key (keyboard), talk and let go, use mouse or keyboard to hit enter. I suspect I am missing something, but it feels a little awkward, maybe I am just getting used to it.

Request: More onboarding or explanation on how to use it within typical workflows.
