Toggle auto-enter on/off?

If this exists, I can’t find it: I would prefer to be able to turn off the auto-enter. When I’m talking to something like Claude Code, the auto-enter triggers the submission, but I actually needed to paste in something (like a code snippet), so it means I have to cancel the submission, retype or c/p what I said, then enter the context.
